SHT11 digital humidity and temperaturesensor is the all-round version of the reflow solderable humiditysensor series that combines decent accuracy at a competitive price.The capacitive humidity sensor is available up to high volumes andas every other sensor type of the SHTxx family, it is fullycalibrated and provides a digitaloutput.

SHT1x (including SHT10, SHT11 and SHT15)is Sensirion''s family of surface mountable relativehumidity and temperature sensors. The sensors integratesensor elements plus signal processing on a tiny footprint and provide a fully calibrated digitaloutput.A unique capacitive sensor element is used for measuringrelative humidity while temperature is measured by aband-gap sensor.The applied CMOSens® technologyguarantees excellent reliability and long termstability.Both sensorsare seamlessly coupled to a 14bit analog todigital converter and a serial interface circuit. Thisresults in superior signal quality, a fast response timeand insensitivity to external disturbances(EMC).
Each SHT1x is individually calibrated in aprecision humidity chamber. The calibration coefficientsare programmed into an OTP memory on the chip.These coefficients are used to internally calibrate thesignals from thesensors.The 2-wire serial interface andinternal voltage regulation allows for easy and fastsystem integration. The tiny size and low powerconsumption
makes SHT1x the ultimate choice for even themost demandingapplications.
SHT1x is supplied in a surface-mountable LCC(Leadless Chip Carrier) which is approved for standardreflow soldering processes. The same sensor is alsoavailable with pins (SHT7x) or on flex print(SHTA1).

1.1 OperatingConditions
Sensor works stable within recommended normalrange -
see Figure 4. Long term exposures to conditionsoutside normal range, especially at humidity >80%RH,may temporarily offset the RH signal ( 3 %RH after60h). After return to normal range it will slowly returntowards calibration state by itself. See Section 1.4"Reconditioning Procedure" to accelerate eliminating the offset.Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may accelerateageing. Features
